Inspired by this symbolic dimension, L'Atelier Mâlya offers a contemporary ritual centered around this precious wood: a moment to slow down, breathe, and focus one's attention on what is happening here and now.
The ritual +
Choose a quiet spot and slightly open a window to allow air to circulate.
Hold the Palo Santo stick over a heat-resistant container and light one end. Let the flame catch for a few moments, then gently blow it out to let the smoke diffuse.
Slowly move the stick around the space, or simply let it burn in its container, while taking the time to breathe and enjoy its woody scent.
Let the ritual accompany you for a few moments, without trying to do anything else.
When you are finished, extinguish the stick completely and ensure no embers remain before leaving it unattended.
