Refund policy
Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with the applicable legislation governing distance sales, you have 14 calendar days from the day following receipt of your order to exercise your right of withdrawal, without having to provide a reason.
To exercise this right, please contact us at contact@lateliermalya.com, stating your order number and the products concerned.
Once you have informed us of your decision, the products must be returned within 14 days.
Condition of Returned Products
Products must be handled with care and returned in a condition that allows us to verify their nature, characteristics and functionality.
You may examine the products in the same way you reasonably would in a physical shop. However, any handling or use beyond what is necessary to examine the products may result in a reduction of the refund amount, in accordance with the applicable legislation.
For products fitted with a seal or tamper-evident system, we recommend that you do not open or use the product if you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal.
Return Costs
In the event of withdrawal, the direct cost of returning the products is the responsibility of the customer.
We recommend using a tracked delivery service. The customer remains responsible for the parcel until it has been received by L’Atelier Mâlya.
Refunds
In the event of a valid withdrawal, the refund will be issued after the returned products have been received and inspected by L’Atelier Mâlya.
Returned products will be inspected to ensure that they are in an appropriate condition and comply with the return conditions set out in this policy.
The refund will include the price of the returned products as well as the initial standard delivery costs. If you chose a more expensive delivery method than the standard delivery option offered, any additional costs resulting from that choice will not be refunded.
If a reduction in the value of a product is identified as a result of handling beyond what is necessary to examine its nature, characteristics or functionality, the refund amount may be reduced accordingly, in accordance with the applicable legislation.
The refund will be made using the same payment method used for the original purchase, unless otherwise agreed.
Defective, Damaged or Incorrect Products
If you receive a defective, damaged or incorrect product, please contact us as soon as possible at contact@lateliermalya.com, stating your order number and, where necessary, providing photographs.
In such cases, we will take the necessary steps to replace the product(s) in accordance with your statutory rights, at no cost to the customer where such costs are our responsibility under the applicable legislation.
Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply in circumstances where an exception is provided for by the applicable legislation, including where the law provides that a sealed product cannot be returned once unsealed for reasons of health protection or hygiene.
